IELTS latest updates
As of January 12, 2025, here are the latest updates regarding the IELTS exam:
1. Change in Writing Instrument for Paper-Based Tests
Effective February 22, 2025, all IELTS on Paper test takers are required to use a black ballpoint pen for all answers. Pencils and other pen colors will no longer be permitted.
2. IELTS Exam Fees in India
The IELTS test fee in India for 2025 is INR 17,000 for both IELTS on Paper and IELTS on Computer. Other test types may have different fees; please check the official IELTS IDP India website for the most current information.
